The Kamwell Internship Programme – Introducing Our New Intern Hannah!

We are delighted to introduce our new intern, Hannah! Hannah graduated in 2019 with a 1st class MA in Philosophy and English Literature and is now studying for an MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh. Hannah fought off stiff competition, taking her place on the Kamwell Internship Programme to gain practical experience in workplace wellbeing, an area she feels extremely passionately about.

Hannah’s experience working for a student listening service, and volunteering with a project in Bali that aimed to break down the stigma around mental health, inspired her to pursue a career in empowering people to develop the tools and strategies to look after their mental wellbeing. Hannah’s own down-time activities include home-cooked meals, singing in a choir, long walks and practicing yoga whenever she can!

We launched the Kamwell Internship Programme in 2019 because we are passionate about extending opportunities to smart and ambitious young people trying to break into the wellbeing industry. We created the programme so it can be tailored to suit the individual, their areas of interest and career aspirations. To meet this end, we develop a detailed plan for their time with us, with clear learning objectives that ensure they gain real and relevant experience that will progress their career ambitions.
